In a new interview, Square Enix director Hajime Tabata talked about his upcoming Final Fantasy XIV art exhibition and why the company is not going to show any images until the event is officially over.
“In the past, we’ve shown an image of the final game for a while, but we’ve not shown it until the exhibition is over,” Tabata said.
“I want to be careful and make sure we have the right image for the exhibition.”
This interview was conducted before the Final Fantasy XI Art Exhibition was confirmed.
Final Fantasy XIV Art Exhibition is set to open in the United Kingdom on September 17, with other major countries to follow.
Final Fantasy XIII-2 and Final Fantasy X-2 have already shown off artworks at conventions.
